The Frommer’s : One of a line of beachfront restaurants on the promenade, Le Nil Bleu may not look like the classiest or trendiest, but it’s the only one where you’ll find a magical mix of generous servings of good food, genuinely friendly waitstaff, a million-dollar view, and nightly entertainment that ranges from an Egyptian plate dancer to Moroccan versions of “Love Me Tender.” Hugely popular despite — or because of — the entertainment, Le Nil Bleu opens early and closes late and offers diners a full range of seafood, steaks, pizzas, pastas, and Moroccan standards such as couscous, various tagines, and pastilla. A few hundred diners can easily fit under the awning. Candle-lit tables for dinner, clear wind barriers, and gas heaters during the cooler months are all nice touches.
